Sketchbooks are an important element in the development of my work. I enjoy the mental and physical activity of 'in the field' sketchbooks which become a key source of inspiration. I use these in combination with 'work books' as place to be free and explore ideas, keep references and working samples. They are a big part of my working practice and are used as an inspirational resource in my teaching of workshops and summer schools.
I offer a creative workshop exploring a free approach to generating ideas through a working sketchbook, looking at abstract ideas and personal themes relating to land and seascapes, an enjoyable experience working in a relaxed atmosphere to discover personal creativity.
